An Angelic Ballerinas dance party is a specially devised stand-alone Ballet class, taught by a qualified Ballet teacher and the emphasis is always on fun. All Angelic Ballerina classes include the use of props such as wands and fairy wings, Ballet themed story telling (for instance, the story of Sleeping Beauty), classical and modern music and a lot of sparkle!
Does my child need any previous dance experience?
Not at all! Angelic Ballerinas classes are tailored to suit your needs, so that all the children get the best experience possible. Each Angelic Ballerinas class is slightly different, with adjustments for age, party theme and previous dance experience.

From around ages 3 and up. Our teachers are experienced with teaching children of all ages.
Who will teach the Angelic Ballerinas class?
Maria is a professional and experienced Ballet teacher who trained at the Royal Academy of Dance. For groups larger than 30, fully qualified assistant teachers are available (call for details). All of the Angelic Ballerinas teachers hold a full Enhanced Disclosure, for you peace of mind.

You can hold a dance party at your own home, gardern or hired venue. All we ask is that there is an open, roomy and safe space for the children to move around freely.
Will the children need any special clothing?
Some gentle exercise is involved, so the children should wear any light clothing that they feel comfortable moving around in. 'Dressing up' is very much part of the fun, so if any of the children have a favourite fairy or princess costume, then that's fine too!

What teaching experience does the Angelic Ballerinas teacher have?
Maria began her training at the Pamela Howard School of Dancing in Ealing. She qualified as a teacher at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and gained a BA (Hons) in the Art and Teaching of Ballet, validated by the University of Durham, and was awarded her RAD Licenciate.
She is also a qualified Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) teacher, having gained an associate in National/Folk Dance. As well as running Angelic Ballerinas, Maria currently teaches Ballet, Folk, Contemporary and Jazz dance to children of all ages in reputable schools across West London
